Happy February 2024! I decided to take a different approach to this season of ‘LOVE’. Things in my life have been quite interesting in the past few months and despite the rocky nature that I’ve found myself in, the foundation of it all has honestly been pure love.
Giving people their flowers while they are still here is important to me. It is about speaking truths and showering those that I care about with a little water to help them grow even more. At one point we were all seeds and it was the love, guidance and care of people around us who helped us grow through nutrients, wisdom and insights. So for the countdown towards the day we celebrate ‘Love’ - February 14… I will be giving flowers to those individuals in my life that I truly care about. So from my garden I will share with you, my beautiful readers… flowers from the heart. And since I’ve been called extra for as long as I can remember… I will start with myself!! After all, I love receiving flowers and more so buying them for myself!
Kariba…. you deserve flowers! You have experienced what most would call the most incredible rollercoaster ride in these past 5 months. The beauty in it, is you never called it quits. You held on tight and you braved each dip and rise like a champ. Giving up was not an option and somehow I admire you for being so strong during some of the lowest points in your life. You amaze me!
Showing up for yourself is one thing, but you managed to continuously show up for your friends and family. YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR and if nobody has told you, well…. today is your lucky day. You are WORTHY of love that is pure. Rooted in truth and watered with abundance. You are caring to those who need you even when they don’t know it for themselves. Your laugh is contagious and you find ways to make the most impossible situations seem manageable with quick fixes and magnificent ideas. You are light… a key component for growth. And this is why your garden will continue to bloom. Never dim your light because you’re special. Both the physical world and your sprint guides smile when you wake up each day, because it’s another opportunity to see true magic flourish.
You deserve all the flowers in the world…. I love you!
